there were two cute birds who were living in a little striped birdhouse on a polka dots tree..

.. e che avevano come migliori amici due gattoni dal cuore d'oro (o meglio a pois), dal pelo morbido e dal sorriso disarmante.

.. and their best friends were two kind hearted (or polka dots hearted) big cats, with fluffy hair and sweet smiles.

..e vissero tutti felici e contenti!

Son in ritardo per augurarvi Buona Pasqua ma ancora in tempo per sperare che passiate una splendida Pasquetta, per un cui un grande abbraccio a tutte/i voi che dedicate parte del vostro tempo a venirmi a trovare e leggere quello che combino! Io saró lontana dal pc per qualche gg (e lo sono stata anche nei gg scorsi, tra lavoro intensivo di commissioni in craft room e in casa/giardino, quindi chi aspetta risposte a mail porti ancora un pó di pazienza) perché passeremo qualche giorno (speriamo di sole come le ultime settimane) in Cornovaglia! So giá che torneró piena di foto, piena di voglia di fare e piena di quell'aria magica che solo in quei luoghi si respira...

..I am late for wishing you a happy Easter, but still in time to wish you spend a lovely Easter Monday! So a really really huge hug all my dear readers! I will be away from the pc in the next days (and I have also been away in the latest days, due to craft work and work in the house/garden, so I ask little patience to who is waiting for a answer mail from me) because we are going for a few (hopefully sunny like the last weeks) days in my beloved Cornwall. I already know that I 'll come back full of pictures, full of willing to make and full of the magic area that only in that gorgeous place you can breathe...

Becoming a garden - step2

I lavori in giardino, anche se un pó a rilento, proseguono.

Ogni piccolo step, ogni piccolo progresso mi fa sentire come una bambina alla vigilia di Natale! Non vedo letteralmente l'ora di vedere questo fazzoletto verde (al momento piu marrone che verde ^_^) completo!

Ci vuole immaginazione, TANTA, lo so, per visualizzare come sará alla fine ma li vedete i progressi fatti dall'ultimo post?

Il siepone malefico che ci ha causato notti insonni per trovare una soluzione che ce lo togliesse dalle scatole senza perdere la santa privacy se n'e' andato.. per metá, la metá inferiore, quella che non serve per la privacy e che ci occupava inutilmente un metro e mezzo di area calpestabile. L'idea, o meglio l'illuminazione, mi é venuta mentre il giardiniere sfoltiva i rami piú bassi.. si é capito subito che sfoltendo non avremmo fatto molta strada :( La siepe era enorme ma completamente vuota dentro. Sfoltendo saremmo rimasti solo con un tronco e qualche ramo spoglio... Con questa soluzione invece abbiamo dei begli alberi a fine giardino che danno un'idea e un'atmosfera completamente diversa, una percezione molto piú rilassata e "open", prima quella siepe dava un senso di oppressione pazzesca.

E poi finalmente ho disegnato il layout e fatto realizzare su mio disegno tutti i contorni di aiuole e zone di ghiaia varie. Abbiamo scelto questi mattoncini color naturale, perfettamente in tinta con le piastrellone della zona patio. Nelle foto qui sotto potete vedere le varie zone che suddivideranno il giardino.

A sinistra lungo il recinto ci sará un'aiuola con fiori e cespugli.

In mezzo, erba in rotoli che verrá messa come prossimo step.

A destra un piccolo viottolo di ghiaino che porta in fondo, ad un piccola area patio, sempre di ghiaia per panchina/dondolo o set tavolino bianco (si vedrá) e che contornerá anche tutto il recinto di fondo nella zona dell'ex siepe.

A destra, delineato dall'andatura rotondeggiante del viottolo di ghiaia, un'altra aiuola di piante e fiori.

The garden is slowly progressing. Every little step makes me feel like a little girl the night before christmas, I am looking forwards to seeing the end result of all our projects!

You need a LOT of imagination to guess how it would be in the end, but can you see the progress made from the last post?

The ugly hedging in the bottom has gone, well.. half of it has gone. It was an idea I got while the gardener was trimming it. It soon became clear that we couldn't successfully trim it because the hedge was huge but it was empty inside.. so we would have ended up with a bare trunk with naked branches out of it. So I thought of transforming it into trees (as they actually are trees) so that the privacy was maintained (that was our main concern) but we could free much space in the garden. The result is great. A totally different feeling of space, a different atmosphere. The huge and ugly hedging was really oppressive in a small garden like ours.

Then I designed all the layout of the areas and edging contours and the landscapers finally installed the bricks edging following my design. We chose these lovely rustic natural coloured bricks that perfectly match the patio slabs.

Down here you can visualize how the garden will be divided.

In the left area there will be flower and bushes bedding.

In the centre a nice lawn.

In the right a little path filled towards a secluded little patio area in the bottom, both filled with gravel.

In the right, contoured by the path there will be another flower bedding area.

Questo qui sotto é l'angolo che preferisco e che ho fortemente voluto. E' un punto che sta quasi tutto il giorno in ombra, tranne nel tardo pomeriggio, quando per qualche ora il sole lo bacia prima di tramontare davanti al fronte della casa. Protetto degli alberi e nascosto da tutto e da tutti, un piccolo angolo di relax, da godersi con il sole tiepido delle serate primaverili in fronte.. Ma ve lo immaginate questo viottolo di ghiaia circondato a destra da straripanti ortensie???

Down here you see the corner I like most, and I strongly wanted to have. It's an area that is in shade for most of the day but at late afternoon, for a couple of hours, is kissed by the sun that then will fall in the front of the house. It's hidden and secluded by the trees and the fence and I see it as a little corner for relax, where enjoying the mild evening spring sun in your face..

Can you imagine this little path surrounded by blooming hortensias???

Ma mentre io immagino e immagino e immagino c'é chi invece non vorrebbe proprio avere il giardino sistemato, ma é contenta di averlo proprio cosí com'é. Lo vedete lo sguardo furbo qui sotto? Indovinate un pó cosa stava per fare la signorina...

But while I imagine and imagine and imagine, there is somebody else that really doesn't want to have the garden sorted out, she is so happy to have as it is now. Can you see the smart look in Penny's face down here? What do you think she is up to?

Naturalmente stava per godersi le ultime settimane di giardino schifido, e piú schifido é meglio é! Cosa c'é di meglio che rotolarsi nella sabbia mista a ghiaia mista a detriti??? Vuoi mettere la soddisfazione? Altro che poi, quando ci sará un noioso pratino all'inglese dove non é assolutamente cosí divertente rotolarsi :D

Obviously she was ready to enjoy the last weeks with the garden as a mess, and the more is a mess the more she loves it. What's better in life that rolling in the sand mixed with gravel mixed with debris? When the garden will be ready and the mess will be replaced by new lawn it will be absolutely not even half the fun!

I prossimi aggiornamenti dal giardino saranno purtroppo tra almeno 3 settimane. Il giardiniere ora é in vacanza, poi arriva Pasqua, poi il matrimonio reale (é festa nazionale) e feste inglesi varie.. insomma ci si rivedrá ai primi di maggio. La penny per un pó se la puó ancora godere ;) Io invece, conteró i giorni e nel frattempo sto ascoltando consigli di gentilissime amiche blogger appassionate di giardinaggio e soprattutto sto studiando (mi sembra letteralmente di essere tornata a scuola) manuali di giardinaggio (in particolare questo di Alan Titchmarsh che trovo fantastico e completo) dato che mi mancano davvero le basi...

The next updates from the garden will be at least in 3 weeks. The gardener in now on holiday, then it'll be Easter, then the royal wedding and other british holidays.. well we will see some new progress in the first days of may. Penny can still enjoy herself for a while ;) I will be counting the days and the hours though, and in the meantime I am listening to advices and suggestions from some kind fellow gardeners bloggers and I am properly studying (it seems to be at school) gardening books, like this from Alan Titchmarsh which I think is really good and complete) as I really don't know anything on the subject..

Country Dreams.. e' arrivato!

E con lui anche il mio progetto per questa primavera 2011.

Eccolo qui sotto! E' una bustina perfetta per forma e dimensioni, per contenere un pacchettino di biscotti (rigorosamente fatti in casa!!!) da regalare, magari in occasione della Pasqua, a chi si vuole bene.

Naturalmente la bustina si addice a contenere un pó quello che si vuole, puó anche fungere da bomboniera porta confetti o cmq essere un contenitore per piccoli regali fatti con il cuore.

Country Dreams (italian online free magazine) has arrived and my project for the magazine as well.

You can see it down here! It's a gift bag that's perfect, for shape and size, to fit a little bag of biscuits (that necessarily have to be home baked!!!) to offer as a gift for Easter, to whom you love.

Obviously the gift bag can be used in other ways as well, like a wedding or other celebrations favor, or as a gift bag for small presents.

Nel mio caso ho immaginato un pensierino primaverile/pasquale. Ho infornato, usando la ricetta proposta da Fiore qui, un paio di teglie di biscottini di pasta frolla, che sono venuti davvero davvero deliziosi (grazie fiore!!!)! E' stata dura per Nicola aspettare che finissi il servizio fotografico per mangiarli, cosí qualcuno mancava giá all'inizio ;)

In my case I imagined it as a spring/Easter gift. I baked, using my friend Fiore recipe that you find here, a couple of trays of biscuits, that came out really delicious (thanks Fiore!). It's been hard for Nicola to ait until I finished the photo shoot to eat some of them, so some was already missing at the beginning of the photoshoot ;)

Qui sotto vedete l'interno delle bustine. Ho preferito usare un tessuto neutro come il lino grezzo all'esterno e divertirmi con stoffine colorate all'interno, ma naturalmente il tutto si presta a molte personalizzazioni (anche nelle applique, nella scrittina, nella decorazione sulla pattina ecc.)

You can see down here the inside of the bags. I decided to use a neutral linen for the outside and to use some colour on the inside, but of course they are prone to be customised in many ways (also in the appliques, in the wordings in the label, in the decoration on the flap etc.)

E qui sotto, appunto, un esempio di uso. Preparate dei sacchettini di cellophane adatti agli alimenti (io li ho presi molti anni fa su ebay), chiudeteli con una piccola decorazione (un bottone, un pó di nastro, un cordoncino, un fiocco di rafia..) e inseriteli nelle bustine pronti per essere donati.

And down here, you see how I used them. I prepared some cellophane gifts bags for food (I bought those many years ago on ebay), close them with a little decoration (a button, some ribbon, a string, a bow of rafia ..) and insert them into the gift bags ready to be offered as a gift.

Oggi un altro lavoro commissionato di cui sono totalmente innamorata!

Lo stile é quello che amo di piú per gli accessori, ovvero uno stile zakka giapponese dolce e coccolo. L'oggetto é, come si capirá facilmente, un portamacchinetta fotografica, per quelle compatte naturalmente, e le stoffine sono tra le mie preferite, lino e cotonine giapponesi, rosa, beige, pois, cosa posso chiedere di piú?

Il cartamodello é di Napkitten, una delle mie designer preferite.

Today another custom order which I completely fell in love with!

The style is my favourite one for personal accessories, the japanese zakka style, sweet and cozy.

The item is a camera case (for compact cameras of course) and the fabrics are some of my favourite ones, linen and japanese cottons, dusty pink, beige, polka dots, what else can I ask more?

The pattern is from Napkitten, one of my favourite designers.

All'esterno misto lino a pois rosa antico e un adorabilemisto lino con le melette, e all'interno righine homespun rosa e bianche e per finire un bel bottone rivestito e abbinato!

e a me sono venuti gli occhi a cuore quando l'ho visto completato... e non me ne vergogno :)

On the outside I used a dusty pink polka dots linen blend together with a sweet zakka fabric with little apples and in the inside a homespun pink striped cotton and finally a fabric covered matching button!

I got my eyes shaped as hearts when I saw it completed... and I am not ashamed of it :)

Un bacio e buona settimana!

From the craft room again

Anche oggi continua la carrellata delle ultime produzioni relative alle ordinazioni che mi vengono fatte da nuove e vecchie clienti e amiche.

Oggi un altro lavoro che mi ha dato una soddisfazione enorme. Ci ho impegato piú del previsto, sia per decidere la struttura, che i colori, le stoffine ecc. ma il risultato mi dice che ne valeva la pena!

Uno dei miei soliti copriquadernoni ad anelli, personalizzato per la mia amica (e cliente super fedelissima) Debby a tema gufetti e con colori, molto retro', azzurro e rosso.

Lei ama gli stessi colori che amo io, le stesse stoffne che amo io, lo stesso stile che amo io, per cui non é stato difficile accontentarla.

Mi sono divertita a disegnare questi gufetti :) una bozza che si modificava man mano e che alla fine é diventata questa coppietta innamorata! Vi piacciono? Non sono dolcissimi con quegli occhioni spalancati??? :)

Today I'll keep on showing you recent crafts I made for custom orders that friends and clients requested to me.

Today a creation that gave me a lot of satisfaction. It took longer then expected, especially to decide the layout, the fabric, the colours, but I think the result deserves the time!

It's another ring binder notebook cover, made for my friend (and super loyal client) Debby, she asked me to make it with some owls and with a red/blue retro theme.

She loves the same colours I love, the same fabric I love and the same style I love, so it was not difficult to fulfil her expectations.

I had fun designing these owls :) I started with a sketch, that slowly went under some modifications and finally produced this couple of owls in love with each other! Do you like them? Aren't them super cute???

Qui sotto vedete tutti i lati, il fronte con il banner e i gufetti, poi l'interno con varie taschine e applique e il retro dove mi son sbizzarrita, come richiesto da Debby, con un bannerino personalizzato, usando timbrini e alfabetini vari e inchiostro per stoffa.

Down here you see all the aspects, the front with the banner and the owls appliques, the inside with different pockets and compartments and the back where I had fun creating a signature label/banner (like Debby asked me) using stamps and fabric ink.

Qui sotto la potete vedere ingrandita, adoro i timbrini, quando ci gioco ritorno bambina!

Mi piace molto anche il banner davanti che richiama la scrittura dei quaderni delle elementari, quando ci si esercitava con aste e lettere :)

Down here you can see the label better, I love stamps, when I play with rubber stamps I go back to childhood! I also quite like the front banner, that recalls the typical handwriting of pupils at school :)

Un ultimo scorcio a questo lavoro che ritengo (per i miei gusti ovviamente) riuscitissimo!

My first Easter tree

Il primo che ho visto era stato ai tempi dell'universitá, mooooolti anni fa, a casa di una mia amica, che a quei tempi era decisamente "avanti". Aveva una casa in stile shabby chic/country/provenzale che adoravo, quando io nemmeno sapevo cosa volessero dire questi termini. E in primavera aveva un piccolo albero di Pasqua che mi é rimasto nel cuore fino ad adesso. Adesso che con il mondo internet e con i blog posso vederne a decine, di tutti i colori, di tutti i tipi.

E quest'anno, per inaugurare la prima primavera nella nuova casetta finalmente ho fatto il primo albero di Pasqua! E lo adoro!!!

The first Easter tree I saw in my life was in a friends house, during university, many many many years ago. At that time you could not see many easter trees in Italy, she was really ahead of her time with a country chic/shabby chic house when I didn't even know these styles yet. I fell in love with that tree and I still remember it now. Now that through the internet I can see so many Easter tree all over the world.

So this year, to celebrate the first spring in the new house, I decided to make my first Easter tree! And I love it!!!

I rami li abbiamo raccolti io e Nicola ancora un paio di mesi fa nei boschi dietro casa. Hanno aspettato in garage fino a ieri per essere finalmente messi in mostra. Ho usato una grande caraffa che possiedo da tempo e l'ho riempita dei sassolini della lettiera per gatti, ottima base dove inserire i rami in modo che siano abbastanza stabili.

The branches were collected by Nicola and me a couple of months ago in the woods near our place. They've been waiting in the garage until yesterday to be put on show. I used a big jug that I have owned for a long time, and I filled it with cat litter gravel, it's an excellent base where you can insert the branches and keep them quite stable.

I soggetti che ho scelto di cucire sono solo due. Avrei voluto fare mille pupazzetti, coniglietti, casette per gli uccellini, cuori, ma il tempo é tiranno come sempre e quindi ho puntato solo su due soggetti e un pó di stoffe abbinate.

The figures I decided to sew are only two. I would have loved to make many different characters: little bunnies, birdhouses, hearts, but time is tight so I concentrated only on two designs and some coordinated fabric.

I colori sono naturalmente i piú primaverili possibili (e quelli del mio salotto, dove é situato l'albero), ovvero rosa e verde salvia. Le fantasie sono quelle che piú amo: righine, quadretti, pois e roselline.

The colours are very springy and they are the colours of our lounge (where the tree is located), hence pink and sage green. The patterns are the usual ones I love: stripes, checks, polka dots and florals.

I soggetti son l'uccellino di Tilda che si trova nel libro Sew Sunny Homestyle (Tilda Landsted) di Tilda. L'uovo invece l'ho creato usando questo modello e istruzioni, perché stranamente non andavo molto d'accordo con quello trovato nel libro pasquale di Tilda.

The characters are the Tilda bird, that you can find in the Sew Sunny Homestyle (Tildas Landsted) Tilda book. The egg instead is from this tutorial, because strangely I didn't get along well with the egg Tilda pattern in the spring book.

Non credo che riusciró a toglierlo dopo Pasqua! Voglio godermelo il piú possibile!

Becoming a garden..

Il sistemare/ristrutturare una casa non si ferma mai solo agli interni. Soprattutto se vengono fatti lavori strutturali, molte avranno giá sperimentato che gli esterni diventano un macello.

Il giardinetto dietro casa é piccolo e dopo l'estensione della cucina é diventato ancora piú piccolo, ma nonostante questo vorrei che diventasse un luogo dove trascorrere bei pomeriggi d'estate, colazioni sotto il sole e serate con il bbq e gli amici.

Non siamo grandi giardinieri (tutt'altro) ma ho sempre sognato, quando un giorno avrei avuto un giardino "mio" di occuparmene, e renderlo carino, colorato e accogliente come gli interni della casa.

Chissá se ci riusciró? Abbiamo trovato un bravo giardiniere, propositivo e abbastanza veloce. Ha giá iniziato e finito di metterci le piastrellone di pietra per la nuova patio area (abbiamo buttato quelle vecchie e orribili che c'erano)

Abbiamo scelto questa pietra colore crema naturale e con la superficie irregolare che da' un bell'effetto rustico.

When you refurbish a house, especially if you also make some structural modifications, you will perfectly know that the work never stops on the inside only. Our back garden that was already small, after the kitchen extension became even smaller and was left in a mess. Despite it being tiny, I would like to make it look prettier and to be able to enjoy it in lazy summer afternoons, sunny sundays breakfasts and lovely nights between friends and a bbq.

We are not keen gardeners at all, but I have always dreamt to be able to make my garden look pretty and cosy, like the home interiors. We'll see if I will be able to do it..

We found a good lanscaper, he is quite fast and helpful. He already installed the slabs for our new patio area. We chose a lovely cream coloured slab, with a river stone rustic appearance.

Il terreno é stato preparato (ha richiesto tantissima terra e sassi per livellare il nostro giardino completamente in discesa) e le piastrellone installate. Dopo qualche giorno le fughe si sono asciugate e abbiamo potuto mettere finalmente il nostro set da giardino!

The ground has been prepared with much soil and gravel, because the garden is quite sloping and the slabs have been installed. After a few days the grouting has dried out and we've been able to finally put the garden furniture in its place!

Mi piace molto la disposizione casuale che ha usato e l'effetto finale é proprio quello che volevamo, molto rustico. Ci sono una piccola patio area davanti al salotto e una corsia davanti alla cucina. Penso che quel colore crema si abbini molto bene con i mattoni della casa, a differenza di quelle grige (tipo asfalto) che c'erano prima e che vedete nelle foto del before.

I really love the random pattern that he used and the final effect is very rustic, exactly as we wanted. There are a little patio area in front of the lounge and a little path in front of the kitchen. I think that this cream colour perfectly matches the bricks of the house (especially if compared to the previous grey/concrete styled ones that you see in the before pics).

Vi assicuro che in una bella giornata di sole (che non é il caso di queste foto sigh) la patio area nuova fa un effetto bellissimo! Mancano solo un pó di vasi con fiori colorati per abbellirla e qualche giornata di caldo e sole per godersela!

I assure you that in a lovely sunny day (that is not the case in these pics) the patio area looks lovely! A few plants and flowers pots around and a lovely warm day and it will be perfect!

Qualche giornata di temperatura mite e di cielo azzurro a dire la veritá ci sono giá stati, ed é cosí bello, in pausa pranzo, godersi un pó di sole sulla pelle e intrattenersi con qualche giornale dei miei preferiti... é la cosa che piú amo dello stare in giardino! L'importante é chiudere gli occhi e non guardare oltre alla patio ;)

To be honest we already had some sunny and mild days and it is so nice to enjoy a little bit of sun during lunch time, reading one of my favourite magazines and relaxing a bit.. it's the thing I love more about having a garden! The important thing is to close your eyes and not look beyond the patio.. ;)

Perché la situazione oltre alla patio é questa qui sotto O_O

Non allettante ma di sicuro come si suol dire é una tela da pittore bianca pronta per essere decorata (almeno un pó).. Come prima cosa l'enorme pedana di legno che occupava (inutilmente perché vista la posizione molto in vista non avremmo mai mangiato li) piú di mezzo giardino é stata eliminata. Inanzitutto cercheremo di ridurre il piú possibile in profonditá il siepone enorme a fine giardino (brutto, ma necessario per la privacy). Poi, appena il tempo sará piú stabile, il giardiniere ci livellerá il terreno e metterá nuova erba in rotoli.

Per il resto, abbiamo progettato un pó e vorremo riempire i bordi lungo il recinto con fiori stile cottage, rose rampicanti, lavanda, ortensie, piccoli cespugli qua e la', e un sentierino con ghiaino che porta in fondo in una piccolissima isoletta di ghiaia circondata da vasetti di fiori sul fondo dove mettere una panchina per godersi l'ultimo sole della sera. Ho letto dappertutto (e visto con i miei occhi) che piú piccolo é un giardino, piú bisogna riempirlo di cose, angolini diversi, aree di forme arrotondate, variazioni di materiali e piante, creare piccoli e diversi punti di interesse, per farlo sembrare piú grande e piú particolare e piú allettante.

Vedremo di tutto questo cosa riusciremo a combinare!

Because the situation beyond the patio is the one down here O_O

Not nice for sure, but I consider it like a blank canvas to be painted and decorate (a little bit). Well we already got rid of the huge (and useless because of the overlooked position) decking area that was wasting more than half of the garden area.

Now, first of all we have to trim as much as possible the big hedge on the bottom, it's huge (but needed for privacy). Then as soon as the weather will be ok and stable the gardener will fill with soil the garden and level it and put new turfing all over.

Regarding the rest, we've been designing the project and we would like to fill the fence side with cottage style flowers like climbing roses, lavender, hydrangeas, little bushes and to create a little gravel path leading to a little rounded gravel area at the back where to put a bench to enjoy the last sun of the day. I have read everywhere (and seen with my eyes) that the smaller the garden, the more you have to fill it with different areas of interest, different plants, bushes, corners, features, to make it look bigger and more interesting and appealing.

So we will see what we will be able to make!

E non dimentichiamo che abbiamo avanzato moltissimi mattoni dall'ampliamento e quindi pensavamo di fare un piccolo barbeque di muretto! Ma dove potremo metterlo? e saremo in grado ci costruirlo? Mi sa che ho troppe idee e che non ci staranno mai in questo mini fazzoletto :) mi toccherá affittare un pó di spazio dai giardini dei vicini ^_^

Ma come sempre vi terró aggiornate su tutto!

And I forgot to mention that we got so many bricks as leftover from the extension, so we thought of building a small brick barbeque. But where can we put it? And, will be able to build it? I guess that I have too many ideas and that they won't fit in this small garden, I suppose I will need to borrow some space from our neighbours gardens ^_^

What I have been up to (part 3)

Oggi vi mostro questa recentissima creazione che mi ha davvero lasciata soddisfatta. Un copriquadernone (dimensione A5) per un bimbo. Le maestre del suo asilo usano dei quadernoni personalizzati dove tenere carta scartoffie e documenti vari, e cosí claudia mi ha chiesto una bella copertina personalizzata per abbellire questo quadernone. La abbiamo progettata assieme sulla base dei miei precedenti lavori ed é nato questo piccolo gioiellino fatto di lino e stoffine giapponesi, un pizzico di tweed e tanto amore!

Today I will show you a very recent creation that really left me happy and satisfied. It's a ring binder cover (A5 size) for a little boy. His nursery teachers use some personal ring binder notebooks where they keep all the paperwork and things related to every kid. So, Claudia, Mattia's mum, asked me to make a notebook cover to make it prettier and more customised. We designed it together using as templates the previous covers I made and this little cutie was born, made of linen and japanese fabric, together with some tweed and much love!

All'interno, un pó come tutti i copriquadernoni che faccio, ci sono vari scomparti, taschine con cerniere, portapenne e anche un portatessere trasparente di vinile.

E gli immancabili uccellini che son ormai il mio soggetto preferito!

In the inside, like all the ring binder covers I make, there are different features, little pockets, pencil holders, and in this one she asked me to make a vinyl badge holder as well.

And obviously the lovely birds that are becoming my favourite applique subject!

ps non mi sembra vero di pubblicare cosí spesso, dopo un mese di silenzio! Ma si sa che le cose si smuovono tutte assieme... cmq, ho preparato un bel numero di post programmati per i prossimi giorni, per cui anche se magari io saró impegnata e non saró molto al pc, vi terró cmq compagnia nei prossimi gg con novitá dalla casa e dalla craft room!
